2023년 8월 23일(수)에 실시되는 을지연습 연계 민방위의 날 훈련 실시계획을 아래와 같이 문답식으로 안내드립니다.

□ 민방위훈련이란?
○ 민방위는 전시 및 재난 등 각종 사태로부터 국민의 생명과 재산을 보호하기 위한 활동이다. 위험상황이 발생하면 주민이 대피하도록 경보를 발령한다.
□ 언제 실시되는가?
○ 2023년 8월 23일 수요일 오후 2시
□ 어디서 실시하는가?
○ 전국
□ 무엇을 실시하는가?
○ 공습상황에서 경보 발령에 따른 대피 훈련
□ 경보발령
○ 오후 2시에 전국적으로 훈련을 알리기 위해 3분간 사이렌(공습경보)이 울리며, 이후 훈련이 진행되는 15분간 전국 주요도로에서 주민이동 및 교통이 통제된다.
□ 훈련 동안 뭘 해야 하나?
○ 공습경보가 발령되면 가장 가까운 대피소로 대피한다.
○ 거리를 걷고 있는데 공급경보가 울렸다면 유도요원의 통제에 따라 가장 가까운 인근 지정 대피소로 대피한다. 야외에 대피장소가 없을 경우 실내로 대피한다.
○ 대피 장소에서 아리랑 라디오 외국어 방송을 들으면서 안내에 따른다.
○ 집과 학교에서 가장 가까운 대피소가 어디인지 미리 알아두어야 한다.
□ What is Civil Defense Drill?
○ The Civil defense drill includes a set of activities designed to protect the lives and properties of the public during emergency situations, such as war or natural disasters. In the event of an emergency, an air-raid warning siren goes off to signal the need for evacuation and prompt the community to take precautions.
□ When?
○ Wednesday, August. 23rd, 2023 at 2:00 PM
□ Where?
○ All across Korea
□ What activities does it involve?
○ Evacuation drills that simulate emergency situations following the sounding of an air-raid warning siren.
□ Warning siren
○ At 2:00 PM, an air-raid warning siren will go off across the country for a duration of 3 minutes to signal the commencement of the drill. For the following 15 minutes, pedestrian and vehicle traffic will be strictly controlled.
□ What to do during the drill?
○ When the air-raid warning siren goes off, immediately evacuate to the nearest shelter.
○ If you happen to be outside when the air-raid warning siren goes off, please follow the instructions of the safety personnel and evacuate to the nearest shelter. If there are no outdoor shelters available, please seek shelter indoors.
○ Upon arrival at the shelter, please tune into the Arirang Radio Station broadcast and follow the instructions provided.
○ Stay prepared in advance by identifying the locations of the nearest designated shelters from your home and school.
