Students enrolled in the Graduate School’s Combined Bachelor’s–Master’s Program and Integrated Master’s–Doctoral Program who are eligible for early completion will automatically be included in the list of completion candidates at the end of the semester once all required completion credits have been earned. No separate application is required.

However, for students who wish to defer early completion due to military service or other reasons, applications for deferral of shortened program duration (early completion) will be accepted as follows.

1. Students Eligible for Early Completion
   (Automatically included in the completion review process without a separate application)

1. Combined Bachelor’s–Master’s Program Students

• Students who, at the time of completion review after grades for the third semester have been finalized, have a cumulative GPA of 4.0 or higher and satisfy all early completion requirements.

2. Integrated Master’s–Doctoral Program Students

• Students who, at the time of completion review after grades for the sixth or seventh semester have been finalized, have a cumulative GPA of 4.0 or higher and satisfy all early completion requirements.

• Completion requirements may vary by department. Please refer to your department’s academic regulations.

2. Application for Deferral of Shortened Program Duration (Early Completion)

1. Eligibility

• Students eligible for early completion who wish to defer completion due to military service or other reasons.

2. Application Method

• Submit the attached Deferral Application Form to the staff member in charge at the College of Health Science Administration Office each semester (Spring semester).

3. Application Period

• March 3 (Tue) – March 27 (Fri), 2026

• Applications for deferral will not be accepted after the completion review process has begun.

• Deferral requests will only be approved if the application form is submitted before the completion review period starts.
