Guidelines for Application and Correction of English Names for February 2026 Graduate School Graduates (Until Jan. 30, 2026, 16:00) * No changes will be accepted after the deadline.

To issue English diplomas for students expected to graduate in February 2026, students who have not yet registered an English name or who need to correct their registered English name are requested to submit their application as follows.

• Details -

■ Students who have not registered an English name will not receive an English diploma.
■ Diplomas (both Korean and English versions) cannot be reissued or additionally issued.

1. Eligible Applicants
   : Graduate School students (including completion-status students) who are expected to graduate in February 2026

2. Application Period
   : Until January 30, 2026 (Fri), 16:00
   ※ No modifications will be accepted after the application deadline. Please be sure to submit within the designated period.

3. How to Check Your English Name
   : Korea University Portal System (KUPID)
   → Academic Affairs/Graduation
   → Academic Records
   → View Academic Information
   → English Name

4. Application Method
   : Complete the "Application for Correction of Academic Record Information (Current Students)" form and submit it to the College of Health Sciences Administrative Office.

• The Academic Record Information Correction Form should include:
  Name, Student ID Number, Department, Degree Program, Contact Information, and English Name (refer to the format below), indicating both the information before and after the change.

5. English Name Format

1. Passport Holders
   : The English name must be identical to the name shown on the passport.

2. Non-Passport Holders

① Use the format “SURNAME, Given Name”

• The surname must be written entirely in uppercase letters.

② The first letter of the given name should be capitalized.

• The remainder may be written according to personal preference.

HONG, GIL DONG
HONG, GILDONG
HONG, Gildong
