2025 Second Semester Master’s Excellence Scholarship (STEM Type) Selection Notice

   Master’s Excellence Scholarship (STEM)

2. Type
   For new master’s students in STEM fields enrolled in Fall 2025 (September 2025 intake)

3. Number of recipients
   1 student from the College of Health Science

4. Scholarship amount
   One-time support of 2,500,000 KRW (living expense support) for Fall 2025 semester only

5. Eligibility

• Korean nationals enrolled in a full-time master’s program (or integrated master’s–PhD program) in STEM fields

• Must be a new student enrolled in Fall 2025

6. Academic requirement

• Undergraduate GPA equivalent to:

  • 87% or higher, or

  • 3.5/4.5 (or 3.3/4.3) or higher

7. Exclusion criteria

• Students who received Korea Student Aid Foundation loans and have not fulfilled repayment obligations for duplicate support

8. Evaluation criteria

• Research performance: 40%

• Study/research plan: 20%

• Social contribution plan: 20%

• Academic performance: 10%

• Financial need: 10%

9. Required documents

• Undergraduate transcript

• Undergraduate graduation certificate

• Research activity record form

• Research plan

• Social contribution plan

• Consent forms (personal data, application agreement)

• National insurance subscription certificate (4 major insurances)

• Proof of basic livelihood recipient or low-income status (if applicable)

Submission deadline:

• December 11, 2025 (Thu), 11:00 AM

• Submit original documents to Room 153, Building B, Hana Science Hall, College of Health Science Office
