[Graduate Students Expected to Graduate in August 2025] Notice on Registration and Correction of English Name for Degree Certificates (Deadline: July 24)
For the issuance of English degree certificates for students expected to graduate in August 2025, the registration of a new English name (for those who have not yet entered one) and correction of an existing English name will be conducted as follows. Students who need to register or revise their English name must apply within the designated period.

Important Notes
■ Students who have not entered an English name will not receive an English degree certificate.
■ Degree certificates (both Korean and English versions) cannot be reissued or additionally issued after graduation.

1. Eligibility
Graduate students (including completion-status students) in the Graduate School who are expected to graduate in August 2025.

2. Application Period
Until July 24, 2025 (Thu), 4:00 PM
※ No changes will be accepted after the deadline. Please ensure that you apply within the designated period.

3. How to Check Your English Name
KUPID → Academic Affairs/Graduation → Academic Records → View Academic Information → English Name

4. Application Method
Complete the “Application for Correction of Academic Record Information (Current Students)” form and submit it to the College of Health Science Administrative Office.

Items to be completed on the form:

• Name

• Student ID Number

• Department

• Degree Program

• Contact Information

• English Name (before and after correction)

5. Guidelines for English Name Format

1) Students with a Passport
The English name must be entered exactly as it appears on the passport.
2) Students without a Passport

① Use the format “SURNAME, Given Name”, with the surname written entirely in uppercase letters.

② The first letter of the given name should be capitalized. The remaining format is flexible.

Examples:

HONG, GIL DONG
HONG, GILDONG
HONG, Gildong
