[Graduation] Submission of Graduation Requirement Documents for Prospective August 2025 Graduates
Hello,
This is the College of Health Science Administration Team.
Students who are expected to graduate in August 2025 (including students with completed coursework status) are requested to review the information below and submit the required documents.
1. Submission Period and Method
Submission Deadline
Monday, June 23, 2025, by 4:00 PM
Submit all required documents to:
College of Health Science Administration Team
Room 153, Building B, Hana Science Hall
※ Students who have completed all required graduation credits but fail to submit the required graduation documents will be classified as coursework-completed (non-graduated) students. Such students will not be permitted to enroll in additional courses or cancel previously earned credits.
Email Submission
If an in-person visit is not possible, scanned copies of the documents may be submitted via email.

2. Eligible Students
All students expected to graduate in August 2025, including:
-
Currently enrolled students
-
Coursework-completed students
-
Students in first majors, intensive majors, double majors, and multiple majors
3. Graduation Requirements
A. Official English Proficiency Test Score Report
-
Students must submit an official English language test score report according to the requirements of their respective division.

Scores obtained during enrollment (after admission) may be accepted even if the official validity period has expired.
B. Human Rights and Gender Equality Education Requirement
Students admitted, transferred, or readmitted in 2017 or later must complete the Human Rights and Gender Equality Education requirement to graduate.
Failure to complete the requirement will result in coursework completion status rather than graduation.
Completion Requirements

Newly admitted students: At least once per year, with a total of four or more completions

Transfer students: At least once per year, with a total of two or more completions

Readmitted students: Once per year beginning from the semester of readmission
C. TOPIK Requirement for Special Admission Students
Students admitted through the Special Admission Track for Overseas Koreans and International Students (12-Year Education Track) must additionally submit proof of TOPIK Level 4 or higher.
※ Not applicable to students in the School of Biosystems and Biomedical Science.
4. Additional Documents (If Applicable)
A. Core General Education Course Recognition Application
Students wishing to have previously completed general education courses recognized as Core General Education courses must submit a Core General Education Course Recognition Application Form.
※ Failure to submit the application may result in the course not being recognized as a Core General Education requirement, which may prevent graduation.
※ Courses completed after the Spring Semester of 2021 are not eligible for Core General Education recognition.
B. Exemption Application for Chinese Character Proficiency Certification
Students in the School of Health Policy and Management who attained coursework-completed status as of February 2019 and wish to graduate in August 2025 must submit a Application for Exemption from Chinese Character Certification.
※ Students who have already submitted relevant certification documents do not need to resubmit them.
C. Graduation Thesis Exemption Application
Students in the School of Biosystems and Biomedical Sciences who attained coursework-completed status as of August 2020 and wish to graduate in August 2025 must submit a Graduation Thesis Exemption Application Form.
※ Students who have already submitted their graduation thesis are not required to submit the exemption application.
5. Additional Important Information
A. Update Personal Information in the Portal System
1) Contact Information
Please review and update your personal information (phone number, email address, etc.) in the student records section of the portal system to ensure you can receive urgent graduation-related notifications.
2) English Name Verification
If the English name registered in your student record differs from the name shown on your passport:
Submit:

One Personal Information Correction Request Form (attached form)

One copy of your passport
Requirements:

The correction request form must include the student's signature.
Example:
-
홍길동 → HONG, GIL DONG or HONG, GILDONG
※ The English name will be printed on the diploma (degree certificate).
※ Changes cannot be made after the diploma has been issued.
※ Discrepancies between the passport name and diploma name may cause issues when submitting documents for overseas study, employment, or immigration purposes. Corrections cannot be made after graduation.
