The Department of Data and Statistics at the KU Graduate School of Policy Studies belongs to the Special Graduate School, which allows students to work while they continue their studies. This program is offered at night for those who need to study statistics for its practical application but who find it difficult to attend daytime classes due to employment or other reasons. The Data and Statistics program fosters and trains professional statistical analysts and practitioners through research on statistical theory, data processing/analysis and computer-based statistical analysis. The instructors are professors in the Department of Statistics and professional statisticians with Ph.D. degrees.
